GENERAL DESCRIPTION
A surface maintainer for use on floors which have been treated with Junckers Rustic Oil, 2K Eco Protect Oil or Professional Hardwax Oil. Rustic Top Oil is easy to apply and fast drying, so the floor is ready for use after 30 to 60 minutes.
The oil protects the surface, restores a uniform sheen to the floor and reduces the effects of scratches and abrasions.
Rustic Top Oil has received the Danish Indoor Climate Labelling. A product with this labelling has undergone extensive volatile emission and odour tests. This ensures that there are no chemical substances in the product which adversely affect the air quality in the room.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Product:
Water-based air-drying alkyd oil.
Package sizes:
Clear 1 litre, 2½ litres, 10 litres.
Black: 2,5 litres.
TECHNICAL DATA
Coverage: 30-50 m² per litre.
Before application: Shake/stir well before use.
Application tools: Flat cotton floor mop or cotton floor cloth.
Substrate temperature: Minimum 15 °C.
Dilution: Not recommended.
Drying time at 20 °C and 50 % RH:
Ready for light traffic after 30-60 minutes.
Fully cured after 24 hours.
Cleaning of tools: Soap and water immediately after use.
Storage: Lasts for 2 years if unopened and stored at 20 °C. Not to be exposed to temperatures below 5 °C.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
The oiled surface must be absolutely clean, dry and free from dust, grease, polish and detergent residue.
Dirt and irregularities can be removed by Junckers SylvaNeutralizer, sanding with sandpaper grit 180-240 or a polishing machine equipped with a corresponding pad. Remove sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner.
It is important to ensure that the priming oil is intact and that the priming oil is one of Junckers' Rustic Oils before applying Rustic Top Oil.
- Apply an even thin layer.
- Note that the oil hardens quickly so care should be taken to spread and work the oil before it dries.
- Keep any overlaps with dry areas to a minimum.
- If there are blotches after application, polish these when dry with a green scrubbing sponge or, on more extensive areas, with a green pad or a polishing machine with a polishing disc.
The frequency of treatment varies with the amount of traffic on the floor. The more traffic the higher the frequency of the treatment.
Spot repairs:
Floors regularly maintained with Rustic Top Oil can be spot repaired in walking lanes and other areas with high traffic.
Surfaces worn through:
If the surface is not sound and stable the floor must first be sanded followed by application of one of Junckers' priming oils.
